So well-thought out and delivered, as usual! I think this fits in the vein of a re-appreciation of girlhood and childlike faith.

As I've studied the gospels recently, I find it fascinating who Jesus chose to follow Him as His disciples and then apostles. He didn't choose those with the most theological acuity. He chose those with a willing heart to trust Him, follow Him, serve Him and serve humanity. God wired each of us uniquely to serve as only we can.

I felt this same way in my Religion minor (sometimes in English too, but less often than in Religion). For me, I added the minor to get some extra credits and because I missed studying the Bible in an academic setting, having grown up in a Private Christian School. It was a hobby. I can't tell you the number of times I would listen to a classmate and feel like they just knew more than me, they are just a stronger Christian than me. I would catch myself feeling like an outsider. There was a period where I started to question my walk with the Lord because everyone in my class was so serious all. the. time. And I just wasn't. So here we are with yet another thing in common.
